Merry Christmas from The Haunted Pen. I hope you have an awesome holiday with your family and friends and an even better 2019. If my use of the word “Christmas” offended you, get over it, you’ll have a long wait for me to apologize for saying Christmas.

Ah, Christmas (oops, I said it again) – the most wonderful time of the year, a time for remembering the important things in life, like watching endless reruns of “White Christmas” and “It’s A Wonderful Life.” A time for alcohol, exchanging gifts with loved ones, Christmas (damn) trees with such elaborate lighting displays they trip the circuit breakers in the house the first time you flick the on switch, alcohol, a time where everyone is filled with cheer and goodwill. Did I mention alcohol?

I hope you all had a great writing and reading 2018. I did. It’s time for some rest and recuperation here at The Haunted Pen. A much-needed 10-day vacation from my day job has just begun and I’m ready for it.
